There's no central server to trust. Receipts batch into a daily merkle root that anchors to chain, and a rotating set of verifiers confirms each root before it's accepted.

Faking a receipt means forging a hash inside a root a quorum already signed — which means convincing the verifiers, which means losing your stake. The economics make honesty the only winning move.
